Cycling

Was asked by a friend how improve cycling.

Haha, my usual response. Join JoyRiders!!!

But he did get the theories correct.
Keep a constant cadence during the entire ride. Be it upslopes or downslopes.

Single-speed ride can improve your cycling , very much like speed training does for your runs.

I guess that is probably how simple cycling is. =)

Oh... I did a check on my cycling log.
When I started riding with JoyRiders, my average speed for the month of January is 18-19 km/h.
So if you are afraid that 25 km/h is too slow... U must have imagine how I feel when I first started riding with JoyRiders.

My cycling pace is around 21-23 km/h from February to April.
But Joyce never gave up on me and continue guiding me along the way.

I only started improving during May where my average speed upgrades to 25km/h.

As Joyce has always told me, the other way to really improve your cycling is to do more rides.
Without last week's crazy rides, I guess I won't be able to hit the average speed 28km/h that I am doing this week.

So mate, dun make us wait too long hor.
Currently , I am assigned to lead newbies, so do come soon.
See ya there!
