Started the ride late as usual.
After seeing numerous cyclists riding using dark shades on Saturday, I decided to try on Adidas T-Sight S for this ride.
The view is dark, but you can make out your surroundings pretty clearly.
Consumed by thoughts along the way, trying to figure out what went wrong.
Answers are hard to conclude, but I guess I am part of the problem too.
Just that I have never imagine that the whole situation will reach this stage of "betrayal".
Without any company during the whole ride, today's ride is downright lonely.
If that is not enough, I had a tire puncture.
Cycling past an accident site at Lornie Road, I heard a hissing sound from my front wheel and I know I have a flat.
Stopped probably 30m from the accident site and tried my skill at replacing the tube.
The dark shades does not helps and I am blind as a bat without it.
Fiddling with the tube for about 20 minutes, I am nowhere close to getting the tube replaced.
A kind gentleman stopped and help me out.
Learn a valuable lesson on tube fixing. Nothing beat hands-on experience! =)
With the sky turning brighter now, I did a 3rd check on the tires.
Sure glad I did, cos there was a large piece of glass embedded in the rear tire.
Reached LongHouse at 7.30am and the place is empty.
Refilled my water bottle and continue on the lonely journey home.
