This good old company server has served the company for years.
But it seems to have a mind on its own.
During last year's Chinese New Year's Eve, it decided to take a rest by crashing itself.
I work till late evening to get it up and running again.
Just in time for 团圆饭.
Yesterday evening, it seems like history is gonna repeat itself.
This time round, it has a slightly different scenario.
Try as I might, I just could not connect to the computer at all.
But the strangest thing is that other than networked drives, the system is running fine.
After a few hours of troubleshooting, I decide to just let it be.
Came to office early today dress like a American Footballer, ready to tackle the issue.
And guess what!!! The server is up and running as if yesterday's events does not exist.
Even Event Logs are not giving me any clues....
Haiz, another mystery....
