Weather looks good.
We decided to go East Coast Park, which we promised Shannon sometime back.
Had our lunch at Burger King. Immediately after her meal, Shannon can't wait to go to the beach. Thus I bring her there first, while Stella is finishing hers.
Shannon is having lots of fun playing with the sand using her spade and pail.
20minutes later, rain came and cut short Shannon's playtime.
Of course , Shannon is not happy at all.
I promised her that we will bring her to the beach in the near future.
Will try to see if Sembawang Beach can made up for it. :p
After the rain stopped, I decided to do some rollerblading.
It is a long 7 years since I last rollerblade.
Not too sure if I can still blade.
First obstacle? Downslope from the car park area. After 2 short steps, I quickly hopped onto the grass patch. :p
Learning to rollerblade is like learning how to cycle all over again.
But this is much tougher than cycling as I only rollerblade around 5 times before I "retire" the last time round.
Step by step I took. Wah, then I realise that I do not know how to brake. Try to lean the right foot back, does not seems to brake at all.
Trying the T-stance...very unsteady. Almost had a fall.
Never mind, one thing at a time.
As I took each step, I start to gain a little confidence. Just a little bit, but good enough lah.
Slowly each step become a stride and slowly with each stride I could travel a bit faster and further.
It is a good 15minutes before I made the distance between Burger King and McDonalds.
Haha, even guys walking are much faster than me.
Had some snacks at McDonalds before we proceed home.
Yeah, first rollerblading session and no falls. So I shall deemed it a successful outing. :D
