Auspicious day for couple to tie the knot. :)
Anyway, the Registry of Marriages also very funny.
Registration stands at 772 for 2 weeks, then Friday newspaper all started reporting 777 couples will tie the knot on Saturday, citing emergency registration?

There is OSIM training clinic today.
My back pain is getting better.
No harm give it a try. I will still need to get back in shape for the 3 races this month.

Reached Car Park F2 at ard 2.50pm. The car park is half full?
Walked over to the clinic...
Huh? Clinic already started but attendance is less than 30 at a glance.
The speaker was talking about knee and hamstring injuries and how to do stretches to minimise such injuries.

Looking around, only recognise Brian (Gugugaga).

3.00pm... Haha, all the people started streaming in. In less than 15 minutes, we have a very healthy turnout. Seems like everyone is interested in the training portion.

Using my Zoot tri-top and tri-bottom today.

After a 30m loop, we proceed to do the 300m loop.
Although we are requested to do 3-4 loops, I noticed some of the chaps doing 5 or more laps.
Seems like these guys are interested to try out the OD distance today.

I did 3x300m. The swim is great.
Not too sure if it is the apparel that helps?
Been swimming for the past few training clinics in my Nike Running Tights.
But I definitely feel less drag during the swim.

After our super slow and nice transition, we waited around for each other to start our bike leg.

Took the opportunity to test out Aerosolcan's 4-bottle fuel belt. Big Mistake!!!
Every upstroke threaten to push the front bottle out of its holder.
I have to keep adjusting the bottle once in a while. The bottle finally fall out at the 3km mark.
Only then did I realise that my Zoot tri-bottom gel pocket can do a better job at holding the bottle when I bike.
Things did not really go well after that though.
Moments later, there is a creaking sound coming from the front wheel.
I keep adjusting the wheel but the sound remains. After 1 lap, I quit the bike leg.
The rest of the guys continue for 2 more legs.

Try to fix the wheel at the transition area.
This kind fellow came over to help out.
Turns out to be Lala...
Haha, poor chap. He arrives early and took up his usual position at the big red water valve. (Meeting place for SGRunners) The place is not under any shades, so he got a pretty good tan.
Hehe, if he had not come over to help and mention about SGRunners, we would have missed each other for another week.

The guys are not back yet, so Lala and I proceed for the run leg on our own.
Just one loop will do. Both of us are saving our energy for tomorrow's PAssion Run.
Again , I notice a group of guys going for their fourth / fifth bike laps.

The back pain comes near the end of the run leg.
This is definitely not a good sign.
The right knee is also starting to send me pain signals.
Talking to Lala during the run relieve some of the pain. :)
Reached transition area. Sigh, left knee is giving me problems as well.
Wonder if everything is related.

Took a while for the guys to come back from their runs.
Haha, AerosolCan's 2XU tri-bottom got checked out by Lala.
Somehow , AerosolCan 2XU never fails to attract attention.

After the training is completed, most of us proceed to the SGRunners 2nd Anniversary Celebration at Island Resorts.
The games has already started, so AerosolCan, Gugugaga, Sywog and I just stay and watch.
After a brief meet-up with the rest of the guys at the chalet, the guys left and I went to pick up my wife and kids at the reception area.
Other than Jancy, I was the only other runner who brought kids.
Mingle around a bit, but it is pretty tough when you dun really know who the rest of the guys are.
Also need to look after my kids, so guys... I am not anti-social hor.
The whole event wraps up around 10pm. A lot of us took our leave as most of us need to rest for the PAssion Run

A great and fun weekend.
