No euphoria.
That is the weirdest part of the whole race experience.

Lessons that I took away from this race.
1) The race is all about mental strength. Even if you have a strong body, a weak mind would not pull you through.
2) Work out your nutrition plan.
3) None of us are good in all three disciplines. But you must be able perform comfortably in two disciplines.
4) Training training and more training. Even though I only trained on my bike for the race, I make sure that I conditioned my body to take the punishment for 8 hours.
What I mean by conditioning is that I pushed my body through its paces, much like interval training for running.
I pedal very hard at times, to the extent that I can feel the burning sensation on my thighs.

"Did you do the Aviva race yesterday?" (Not surprisingly since the articles was in the headlines)
"Yes"
"What is the distance you did"
"1.9km swim, 90km bike then run a half marathon"
"19km bike.... not too bad what....." (three of them interpret as 19km.)
"No, it is nine zero km bike."
"What!!!"
"Keke....."
I know it is not my pronunciation, cos I stressed on the 90km...
It is just hard for them to fathom 90km... Keke....
