D Day Minus 3

Woke up at 4am.
After brekkie, I am still contemplating whether to ride this morning.

Weather is good, roads are dry.
Sore shoulders, butterflies in the tummy... (Never had these two symptoms for a long long time)
Anxiety is starting to building up...

Shall skip today's ride... :p
Isn't that what tapering is all about? :D

Time Check... 5:30am now.
It is raining heavily now.

Been wearing 2XU for 12 hours daily for the past 2 weeks.
These compression tights are really wonderful...

I never felt more ready for any races.
I know some of my friends will find it incredible.
How am I going to survive a triathlon when I only train for one discipline.
But I have my own reasons and I think I am ready for the BIG race.
I guess the psychological mind play a very important role for any races.
I am READY!!! :D

Trifam Sprint is a "go" event.
Registration has already started.
Will be signing up for the race after Aviva Ironman 70.3.
Hehe, my cheerleader will be cheering me on during the run leg. Thanks, BEAD! :D

Updates regarding the bike leg of Aviva Ironman 70.3

Bike - 90.1km

The cycle course closes 5 hours after the start of each competitor's individual wave start time. There will be two INTERMEDIATE cut off points: 1.At the end of lap 2 at Big Splash at 11.15am 2.At the far end turn around at 12.00noon Competitors not passed these points by the time indicated will be in the case of 1. Sent to transition and allowed to go onto the run but will be recorded as a DNF. 2. The competitor will be transported back to the transition area but not allowed to continue.

The wonderful thing about the Singapore race is that it allows you to finish the race and receive your medal and finisher towel, that is provided you complete the run leg.

But you will need to assess yourself to see if you can complete the bike leg.
Cos the above situation is only applicable if you pull out at the end of Lap 2.

The 3rd lap of the bike leg becomes very crucial, as you cannot afford any punctures whatsoever.

All the best to all my fellow competitors. :)
See ya on the Start Line. :D

The Competitor's Info Booklet is finally available.
The more I read, the more nervous I get.
Completed reading the booklet, close the book, my heart rate goes back to normal. Haha... :p
