Was telling M that I wanna go for the 5km Swim next year.
Her reaction? "What? Last few swimmers for your 3km swim and you still wanna try 5km! 量力而为, okay!"
Two things I may need to accomplish to get a better timing...
1) Freestyle.
2) Sighting.
But at least I think I did something right last Saturday.
Swim beneath the waves most of the time on the return leg.
Looks like the tactic works everytime I swim against the currents.
Was told that there is under current which may work against my reasoning, but I doubt it make much difference so close to shore.
Oh well, I guess we just have to be able to adjust to the environment.
There is never any right or wrong rule or tactic.
