Sometimes I think I am getting ahead of myself.
Let's starting looking at what I have NOT achieved.
1) Full Marathon
2) Olympic Distance Triathlon
3) Ironman 70.3
Despite all these, I am still thinking of completing an Ironman by age 45.
That gives me around 10 years to complete a dream, an Ironman Dream.
But I know that it is still a far-fetched dream, cos I have not been working towards that goal.
I should be losing weight, but I have only succeeded in gaining 4kg after SCSM.
I should keep up my runs, but I am clocking lesser runs this year.
I started to find a new love in group cycling, which prompted me to question myself why I should continue running, since it hurts me so much.
But I still wanna complete all of the above 3 events and eventually proceed to complete the Ironman Dream.
Life is such an irony...

aiyah, no need think so much. when the time comes u'll naturally be ready. if group cycling appeals to u so much then go ahead with it, that can help you build up ur fitness base for easier running in future.
bro, the journey is probably more impt than the destination, try to enjoy it! Unless we are professional athletes, completing this & that event (even in a fast time) is only mostly useful for feeding our pride.
(anyway, ur OD tri coming up already also mah)
It is good to have dreams otherwise you will stay stagnant. Work towards it. 10 years is a long way off so you have plenty of time although I think if you are determined enough, you can do it in a much shorter period.
Thanks , guys!
I know you will be there to push me through the training when crunch time comes. =)
If you want it bad enough, i am sure you can do it, this year or next.
You must be prepare to put in the long hours and lost of social life.
We only live ONCE. Just signed up and think about it later. :p
don't listen to tigger..heehee..
precisely cos we only live ONCE, that's why all the more you gotta make sure you don't sacrifice things that're important along the way...
