What happen when you neglect your own bike.
I have gotten my Cervelo for 5 months now, but I have only brought it out for 3 bike trips.
It felt pretty neglected. And what is worse is that its rear tire is completely flat cos I do not know how to operate a bicycle pump.
So it tooks its revenge by giving its owner a nightmare.
Wednesday night, I dreamt that I was cycling my Cervelo to meet my friends.
While stopping over for a drink, they commented that my Cervelo looks old.
I was thinking "How can that be possible?"
Looking down I got the shock of my life. One side of the bike was stock yellow while the other side was white with chipped paint from its days in the balcony facing the morning sun.
The gears and the bicycle spokes were all rusty like the bike has been in the rain day and night.
Luckily, I woke up then.
Now that I have completed SCSM, maybe it is time to bring the bike for a spin.
But I still cannot decide where to bring it.
Cycling alone on Mandai Road seems out of the question, I do not have that kind of confidence now.
Probably I will bring it to Yishun Dam soon.
But I need to get the bicycle pump first.
