2XU Compression

Been using 2XU Compression for quite a while.

Initially I was pretty skeptical about it.
I cannot imagine why anyone would plonked $190 for a pair of long compression tights.

But when SCSM 2008 swings around the corner, I am gamed for anything that will help minimise the pain, given the minimal preparation that I had done for the full marathon.

Putting it on for the first time , I am sold!
Muscles aches and Delay Onset of Muscle Soreness (DOMS) become a thing of the past. =D

It also started my addiction with 2XU.
Suddenly, the rest of the triathlon stuff seems second-rated.

When my trusty 1.5 year-old New Balance tri-tights started giving me saddle sore, I know it is high time I get a new pair of tri-tights.

I am lost. I do not have any brand of tri-tights in mind.
2XU triathlon tights was out of the question.
It is just too expensive.

A few weeks later, I chanced about an article reviewing the new 2009 2XU Endurance Series Tri Tights.
It featured Kinetic Compression lycra having the ability to reduce muscle fatigue.
Hmm... this is definitely worth a try.

I was ready to get impressed by MT1118b.
Little did I know how much relief it will bring to my cycling.
Usually, I can feel the burn in my thighs when I push hard.
With MT1118b, you can still feel a dull burning sensation, but the Kinetic Compression fabric kick into action immediately.
The aches are numbed and easily forgotten.

MT1118b is something that I recommend to all my friends who asked.
You really have to try it to know its benefit.
It is definitely worth every penny.

1118 is a significant and memorable number to me too.

It is my bib number for Sundown Marathon. =)
It will be extra special to me if I wear the 2XU tri-tights for Sundown, but I know that the long compression tights is better in that department. =)
For the record is one thing, but you do not use stupidity to achieve it. =)
