Aviva

Aviva...
A name I realised that I have been using too often.
I can only say that I am really glad that I signed up and most importantly, finished the race.

Just like the Finisher logo on the Finisher Tee, it is a stamp of approval that I can do it. Reflecting on the race preparation, I must say that I lack the training intensity that my fellow competitors have put in.

What I really enjoyed about completing the race is the added race confidence and that little respect I gained when I doing my JoyRiders Guardian's duties.
(Yeah, being complained by Otto is a hard pill to swallow. I am glad that my crazy Eastern Ride last week has put things back in perspective.)

Hehe, now IM is not an impossibility I guess.
But only if it is held on Singapore shores.
Not too keen to do overseas races where bike packing is required.

Haha, got a very puzzled look from a rider who come to know that I did Aviva without completing a full marathon.
Keke, must finish races in order one meh? =p

Speaking of which, I better start running soon. My next major challenge is only 22 days away.

Bro,
Just train for IM, you may never know, it might just happen that an IM maybe held in SG in the near future.
Cheers

Hehe... probably when they launch IM in Singapore, it will be good timing for me too.

Cos kids would be older, giving me slightly better times to train. =)

when is your next challenge... is it Sundown Full Marathon ? Doesn't matter if you have not completed full marathon before doing Half IM, the effort in Half IM is more but less taxing on the knees, so it is better for you in the end.
