Group Riding

I am in a very verbal mode recently...

Thanks a to helmet-less rider who rode with the group today, it started a thread where concerns were raised.

1) Helmet-less riders should have been asked to go home and not allowed to ride with the group.
2) Blinkers-less riders should also be banned from riding with the group.
3) Aero-bar cyclists should not be riding with the group.
(Especially since one of them almost made the whole group crash this morning)

Here was my response.

I have not been riding with the group for 4 months.

When I came back riding last month, what I saw ain't that pleasant.

1) Cyclists on Aero-bars swaying from side to side while riding with the pack.
2) Cyclists not stopping behind cars during traffic stops.
One incident 2 weekends ago, where our riders swarmed a car.
3 to 4 riders each in front and on either side of the car.
It is easy to understand why drivers may not like us.
Some of the swarmers are regular JoyRiders...=(

Point 1? Cos I met the same crazy swaying cyclist on Tuesday's ride.

Responses for Point 2?
Pascal : Voice out your concern during the ride as recommended by Joyce.
(Opps, Pascal must have been really close when I feedback to Joyce
two weeks ago.)
Stefano : (Treated the whole situation too lightly)
If he were the driver, he would be admiring the swarmers' legs and
what-not...
Michael Craig : No driver would appreciate being swarmed...

Oh well, I encountered a hairy situation on Tuesday.
A lorry came very close to me. Within inches of brushing his side mirror against my shoulders and purposely revving his engine while alongside me...
The instant thought was that we (cyclists) must have irk-ed him in one way or another and he is taking revenge.
