A reflection on Singapore Biathlon. Think I better buck up and increase my training.
I had promise a friend that we will do our first Full Marathon this December.
With my current fitness level, I don't think that I will be able to keep pace with her at all.
Judging by the effort that I have put in during Singapore Biathlon, I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed with myself.
But seriously speaking, my heart rate does not really allow me to continue running at the pace that I did during the race.
I could have run slower at a constant pace, but I find that very hard to accomplish during a race.
But first things first, I need to lose the 6kg that I have gain over the past 6 weeks.
Yeah, dun ask me how... I really gain 6kg over 6 weeks.
And it took me 12 months to lose 12kg. Grr....
Time for drastic measures....

You mean it literally when you said you gained 6kgs in juz 6 weeks?
Could t be muscle mass which is heavier than fat. So, you feel the mass which affects your pace? Juz a thot.
But seriously, take it easy on yourself. Relax and have fun. Don't overdo your training or races. Train safe and race safe! Watch the HRM too and as Ultra says 'Listen to Yourself (body).
All the best for your trg for your first 42.195km.......
First 42km, complete first then think about timing.
I am sure you can do it, it is a matter of how badly you want to do it.
Train with care.
Thanks for the advice and best wishes.
I will try my very best. =)
