Stupid or Lazy?

Up to my neck with work due to server migration.

But what I do not expect is how un-cooperative my colleagues are.

An email was send last Friday detailing step by step what to do after the server migration.
They complained that it is too "chim" to understand.
I wrote a summary highlighting the important points and send it to them.
Come post migration, they will call me from their desk to help them.
They treat me as if I am a coffee boy.

Just imagine I have to do the migration for 70% of the colleagues.
Thus I ask some of them why they did not do the migration themselves.
Their answer? We got you mah, why do we need to do it ourselves?
Win already lor!!!

There were other emails sent detailing what needs to be done for other issues.

Some of the emails goes like that.

If you are case (1) , do this
If you are case (2) , do that.
or
If you do not need this. Ignore this email.

Some of them (about 7 of them) would call me over to ask these questions.
So I am case (1), should I do this?
or
I do not need this, so should I ignore this email?

What can i say?
I guess this simple gesture tell a lot about their personality.
They are insecure.

What are your thoughts?
An interesting look at these guys, they are either in managerial or supervisory positions.
So one should always be super cautious when climbing to the top???

Haha....It is ALWAYS the case. Typical end user mah. Not suprise..some may just ignore everything that comes out of IT. Come post migration when they hit problem, they call you loh!! :)
