Novena Velocity Run

Been a long time since I did the Novena Velocity Run.
Was there for the Nike Trial.
Tried out Nike Structured Triax 10+ size 11.
Main purpose is to find out what is wrong with my Baby Triax 10+ size 10.5.
In fact, nothing was wrong. Size 11 is too roomy.
So lacing may save my black toes, I hope.

Pretty sure that Terence mentioned SPE and Adam Road, but the 4 guys in front of me all ran towards Malcolm Road.

I followed them, as I could see no one across the Whitley Road traffic junction.
Very soon, it was just me and another chap about 100m in front of me.
Reaching Chancery Grove, I was all alone.

Din know where to go and realise that running straight back to Novena Square will be only 5.5km, I decide to go to SLF before turning back.

The smog is very bad along Thomson Road.
Wanted to try the SLF slopes , but gave up on the idea as I do not know how far behind I am.

Total distance ran was 8.5km in about 65mins.
Pretty nice run in cool weather.

After returning the Nike shoes, spotted a Nike Zoom Vomero 2+ Size 11.
Quickly try it on before Sacha packs up.
The base is definitely broader than the past season's Vomero.
And the cushioning felt much better too..

After the run, we proceed to have dinner.
Highbury, Davidtch and Cookie were all very chatty and time passes very fast.

After dinner ends around 9.58pm, I decided to go search for the toe socks that Taz recommended.
I was very lucky!
The lady was pulling down the shutters , but she allow me to grab the socks. :D
Will try the socks during my next run.
